Bernardeschi IGT Governo All’uso Toscano

Although the Governo process is very old, the wines produced in this way have only experienced a real boom in recent years. The Bernardeschi 2.60 manages the perfect balancing act between food accompaniment and party wine ... On the nose, some dark fruit and light herbal spices. Subtle floral touch. Not too jammy, but with a perfectly balanced acidity. Scaloppine al Limone, home made burger with sweet potato fries. 10 months in large wooden casks and 4 months in the bottle.

Le Ragnaie Brunello di Montalcino Passo del Lume Spento 6 pk

Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino

The 2013 Pian della Vigne shows a brilliant ruby red colour. The nose is delicate and complex with notes of ripe fruit, cherries, and plums, perfectly balanced with sensations of dried and candied fruit and spices. The palate is ample with supple tannins and is enlivened by a note of vibrant acidity which fully brings out the intense persistence and pleasure of aromas. The finish offers hints of tobacco, dark chocolate, and berry fruit. An extremely elegant and bracingly savoury wine of great finesse. Acquired by the Marchesi Antinori family in 1995, the Pian Delle Vigne estate is located 6km to the South of the town of Montalcino and consists of 184 hectares of land of which 65 are planted with vines and the remainder with olive groves and woodland. The stony, clay and limestone soils are planted entirely too various Sangiovese clones on elevations between 180 and 250 metres above sea level. Two stunning wines are produced at the estate the Pian Delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and the Pian Delle Vigne Vigna Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva, beautifully rich, balanced wines, true to their terroir and superb drinking.
