As a negociant and vinificateur (winery), Caves desclans identifies vineyards, grapes and wines from château desclans as well as local growers to make what has reputedly become the worlds greatest rosé. As our objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, we have created relationships with the local grape growers, committed beside Caves desclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Château desclans.

Bright strawberries and subtle cherry with a refreshing mineral finish. This charming lighter in alcohol red at just 9% is the perfect drop when looking for a lower in alcohol alternative. Enjoy with smoked chicken and avocado salad, or prawn and chilli linguine Select parcels of Shiraz and Sangiovese grapes were de-stemmed and crushed, with the juice and skins quickly separated to ensure a delicate pink colour. The juice was fermented cold in stainless steel using an aromatic yeast strain. A small amount of residual sugar was le in the wine to balance the acidity on the palate. Very pale pink colour. Intense nose. Very fruity (white stone fruit, pomegranate, cherry, strawberry), with a delicate floral finish. In the mouth it is smooth, balanced, unctuous, and lively, with a character and persistence that are surprising given the wine’s delicate appearance.

This rose is a new drier and paler style. It is refreshing with a luscious mid palate and a clean crisp finish.

This Australian rose reveals lifted strawberry and raspberry aromas with subtle floral and spice overtones. Wonderfully light with sweet berry flavours and soft tannin structure. Finishing with a clean, crisp and lingering taste on the palate.
