Warm weather is coming, and with it, the perfect opportunity to enjoy all the flavours of the naturally aromatic Val Soléu Organic Rosé. This Organic Rose from Provence is produced by Cellier des Dauphins, a winery nestled in the southern Rhône Valley, in the foothills of the southern Alps. Organic, aromatic, eco-friendly. These are the words to best describe this wine. Inspired by a terroir of lavender and olive trees, the winegrowers created this fresh and aromatic organic rose while respecting the environment. Pale and brilliantly gleaming with rose-petal highlights. The bouquet Thiol type aromas of citrus fruit such as grapefruit and exotic fruit in the mouth. A rosé of outstanding natural freshness packed with deliciously crisp, tangy fruit. Remarkably well-balanced and mouth filling, with a persistence underscored by superb freshness. Enjoy.

This Rosé was produced from 100% Merlot grown in two separate Yarra Valley vineyards near Dixon Creek, Victoria in the cooler part of the wine region. The richer soils of this region, together with the cooler average temperatures during the growing season contribute to the production of delightfully flavoured fruit. Sunset apricot & peach blush. The wine offers a subtle array of fruit aromas of apricot and stone fruits. On the palate the apricot influence is also notable on the palate and is dry, smooth, and easy drinking. Whilst a perfectly delicious wine on its own, this rosé is a delectable pairing with spicy Asian salads, pan-fried scallops, or lightly seared meats from the grill.

This Rose’ was made with a pretty pale blush and combines refinement with refreshment.

Made by Rose Kentish from Ulithorne at Domaine de la Sangliere, on the south coast of Provence, near Toulon. Vineyard and Vinification are run under organic principals. Pale Salmon-pink hue, a blend of Cinsault and Grenache. Fresh grapefruit with a hint of Rose Petals and red fruits of Strawberries and a long, dry, fresh finish.
