McGuigan Wines is going alcohol-free, well at least for these Zero range of wines. The varieties include shiraz, sparkling, rosé, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc and are now available at your local first Choice Liquor Market store. The wines were in development for over two years and use the latest spinning cone technology, working at low temperatures to gently remove alcohol after the fermentation process, ensuring the wines maintain their delicate fruit flavours. The wines were created to maintain strong varietal characteristic, it added, containing no artificial sweeteners or additives.

One of the very best Chardonnays doing the rounds from McLaren Vale due to its lighter, slightly austere nature. Citrus melon and fruit-salad aromas give this Chapel Hill Chardonnay an attractive lifted bouquet and the palate is flavoursome fresh and lively. Great drinking!

From some of the oldest vines in California’s Russian River Valley, Hartford Court’s Four Hearts Chardonnay delivers apple, lemon and toasty oak with flinty minerality. Silky and powerful yet beautifully balanced — a benchmark for expressive, age-worthy California Chardonnay.

This Chardonnay harvested from high altitude vineyards is a vibrant representation of the region. Well rounded with aromas of peach, melon fruit and toasted spice, the palate is mouth-filling and textured with layers of ripe fruits and refreshing acidity.

Entirely sourced from Tyrrell's famous HVD vineyard. These dry grown blocks were planted in 1984 and 2003 and together they produce a modern style that has both richness and finesse.

Penfolds Maxs Chardonnay is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert, a legend in Penfolds history. Pale straw in colour with green hues, this wine has a very nice textural and creamy palate with a soft line of acid fading ever so slowly to a distant palate horizon.

Pale straw yellow in colour. Aromas of ripe peaches, stone fruits and fig with a delicious waft of wild honey and native wildflowers. The layers of flavour on the palate reflect not only the Chardonnay fruit but the use of wild fermentation, malolactic fermentation and ageing on yeast lees. A faint hint of oak comes through on the palate as toasty vanilla, while balanced acidity provides a refreshing finish. Enjoy with barbeque chicken, caesar salad, or pasta with a creamy sauce.
