Ca' Montini Pinot Grigio Terre Di Valfredda 2021 is a yellow straw colour. The nose is crisp and vibrant with aromas of apple and citrus. The palate is nicely balanced with fruit and acidity. This wine is picked by hand from the single vineyard plot in Trentino and is the only wine produced by Ca’Montini. Vinified in stainless steel and aged in tank before bottling. Using fruit sourced from one of the most highly-prized vineyards, Ca’ Montini is proud to present a premium Pinot Grigio DOC that truly showcases the quality and winemaking history of Trentino. The vineyard lies in a small valley called by the locals “Valfredda” or cold valley. The grapes are naturally protected from the elements by the surrounding mountainside and the perfect East-West exposure ensure the ideal conditions for the ripening of Pinot Grigio. This project was conceived under the direction of internationally acclaimed winemaker Riccardo Cotarella and his technical staff.

Within Kiedrich’s Gräfenberg Grand Cru lies a small 0.5-hectare parcel once known as the Gräfenberg-Lay. Sitting in one of the steepest portions of the vineyard, the Lay is located at the transition between Gräfenberg and Turmberg and is known for having the highest concentration of phyllite slate on the hill. The vines here are now between 40 and 60 years old. This site was originally purchased by Dr Robert Weil in the 19th century, using the dowry from his marriage to Emilie von Vacano (a descendant of the Vacano family in Lombardy). The wine from this parcel, called Monte Vacano (the Hill of Vacano) was always produced and bottled alone. It was used only for celebratory occasions and never released for sale. Following Weil's death in 1921, the tradition of Monte Vacano fell dormant, and the fruit was incorporated into a regular Gräfenberg bottling. Compared to the Gräfenberg GG, Monte Vacano trades power and richness for exceptional purity, elegance and detail. Resurrecting the old custom, 2021 marks the fourth Riesling in a century made solely from this special lieu-dit. It was harvested in October, and the grapes were whole bunch-pressed into two ancient refurbished Stückfässer (1,200-litre casks) where the wine fermented wild and spent almost two years on lees before bottling.

Product Information: Prophet's 2021 Rock Vin De Paille (or straw wine) is an ancient wine style in modern hands. A rare gem, this unique wine is made using an ancient technique of drying the grapes after harvest (traditionally on straw shelves). Just one barrel is made, expect complexity and richness, with a balancing fresh finish. The 2021 vintage shows juicy pear, quince, and vibrant florals on the nose. Yellow and stone fruits, especially nectarine drive the palate. Generous on the palate, but remains focussed and driven by great freshness, leading to an exceptionally long and bright finish. This wine comes from a high-elevation, a single parcel of Pinot Gris, located on our spectacular Rocky Point Vineyard. This very steep site has schist-based soil with high mineral content and low vigour (consistently average 30-35 hl/ha). In the vineyard this equates to one bunch maximum per shoot, no shoulders or wings, and a further green-thin at veraison to control yields and increase flavour concentration. In 2005, Paul Pujol joined Prophet’s Rock. His passion for cool-climate viticulture, nurtured through extensive work in France and the United States, has been integral in shaping their winemaking philosophy. Paul’s commitment to minimal intervention and terroir-driven winemaking reflects a profound respect for the natural characteristics of our vineyards. Paul Pujol’s philosophy is a unique blend of global experience and deep respect for terroir. His career began in Marlborough, but it was his work in France that shaped his approach. At Maison Kuentz-Bas in Alsace, Paul became the first non-French head winemaker since the estate’s founding in 1795, producing wines from six Grand Cru vineyards. This empowering experience taught him the importance of minimal intervention and the expression of the vineyard’s natural characteristics​. Paul went on to refine his skills in Oregon, but his most transformative experience came from his collaboration with François Millet of Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé in Burgundy. Home Vineyard Situated on a north-facing terrace above Bendigo Station Homestead, the Home Vineyard offers sweeping views of the Cromwell Basin and Pisa Range. At an elevation of 320 to 400 metres, the vineyard’s steep slopes capture maximum sunlight and cool night temperatures, enhancing flavour development and freshness. The soil profile features a rare combination of schist, quartz, clay, and a layer of alkaline chalk, which supports optimal nutrient uptake and water retention, ideal for Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, with Chardonnay, Muscat, and Gewurztraminer planned for the future. Rocky Point Vineyard located at the rugged southern end of Bendigo, the Rocky Point Vineyard is noted for its steep slopes, rising from 226 to 351 metres. The stony, free-draining soils store and release heat overnight, benefiting the Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Pinot Gris vines. These challenging conditions result in concentrated, rich fruit, producing wines with a profound sense of place. Kopuwai Delta Vineyard Perched on a terrace overlooking the Clutha River, the Kopuwai Delta Vineyard is named after a powerful Maori taniwha. At 225 metres elevation, and nestled between the Pisa and Bendigo ranges, the vineyard benefits from low-vigor, free-draining soils made up of schist, loess, alluvium, and rounded river stones. This distinctive location and microclimate contribute to the production of Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay with exceptional purity and flavour. Nose - Lifted Tropical Fruits, Szechuan Peppercorn, Creamy Notes Lifted nose with intense aromas of pineapple and Szechuan peppercorn lead into some deeply oily, creamy aromas. Palate - Yellow Stone Fruits, Sweet, Voluptuous The palate is sweet, unctuous and voluptuous - given definition by incredible acidity. Simultaneously sweet but light and detailed. Finish - Honey, Dried Pineapple, Bright Finish Fine grip with an exceptionally long and bright finish.

The Mader domaine is a very small quantity, high quality wine producer based in the picture postcard village of Hunawihr in the middle of vineyards on the Route des Vins. The family own 9 hectares of vineyards, including prized holdings of vines in the famous ‘Rosacker’ Grand Cru vineyard and also now in the Grand cru Schl0ssberg. All vineyard work is carried out by hand and since 2005 their son Jerome is now running the estate having studied and gained a Diploma in Oenology. Since returning to the family estate Jerome has also converted all their vineyards to bio-dynamic viticulture.

Genre Pinot Grigio (Case of 12) Grapes for the Genre Pinot Grigio are sources from the Zilzie Winery, a step away from the Murray River in Victoria. This wine is pale straw in colour. The nose is fragrant with orange blossoms and pears. The palate is fruit driver with apple and pear flavours with a crisp acidity.

Villa Maria Private Bin East Coast Pinot Gris 2022 vintage consists of a variety of parcels blended from different vineyard sites across several key regions. The warmer Gisborne region provides ripe fruit with soft acidity and the South Island provides freshness and aromatics. This Pinot Gris has fresh and intense aromatics of pear, red apple and honeysuckle, leading to a rich and textured mouthfeel and a delicious off-dry finish. Pair this wine with seafood, soft cheeses, salads and white meats.

Mon Tout look at the raw possibilities and natural outcomes of minimal intervention winemaking, and have worked over the years to source fruit with lower impact and gentler farming. Pinot Gris & Gewürztraminer - picked and pressed together to stainless steel where the juice was given extended contact with solids for 10 days prior to ferment, with a portion going to ceramic eggs to undergo cool and slow ferment in contact with skins for 2 weeks. Riesling - natural ferment in tank with low juice solids at a cool cellar temperature. Subtle and fresh, yet layered, this vibrant summertime white melds an array of riotous fruit with mouth-watering acidity and silky texture. It is a sensory journey on which one is carried from Pinot Gris’ classic pear, apple, and exotic sweet spice aromas to Gewürztraminer’s rose petal and white pepper tones. The palate is tightened by Riesling’s bright acidity and zesty flavours. Guided by a fine acid line, the midpalate unveils an almost oily texture and supple fruit weight, striking the perfect balance between bright and rich. An abundance of orchard fruit collides with tropical fruit punch and refreshing minerality to create an eminently appealing wine with a citrus-filled finish.
