The McLaren Vale region in South Australia has a moderate coastal climate, perfectly suited to growing high quality Shiraz grapes. Its unique soil produces concentrated fruit that impart pronounced berry and spice characteristics and soft palate. This wine is complex, fruit driven and smooth with hints of strawberries and raspberries with notes of spices. Deep ruby-red in colour, it is the ideal accompaniment to roasted or grilled meats such as beef or venison, as well as hard cheeses such as cheddar and parmesan. Team up at a bbq with friends. Enjoy the ride! This wine has a medium ruby colour, fragrant ripe raspberries with a hint of confectionary on the nose. A palate of sweet juicy red fruits with very fine soft tannins and a good length. Drink now as made for immediate enjoyment.

I am so excited about Californian wine production - it’s always a thrill to see these wines on our shores. This is pinot with power - smokey and meaty at the fore, which gives way to a dried cherry and pink flower potpourri and sweet baking spice. On the palate it’s silky smooth and delightfully shapely with some punchy acidity give the wine real get-up-and-go. This isn’t so much lithe and supple as it is round in the mouth; almost (but not quite) enough to be stepping outside the bounds of varietal typicity. Structured and bold but ethereal none the less.

The perfect introduction to the Chapel Hill range, that truly reflect the vineyards and the trust between grapes, growers and winemakers. These wines are gently made and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. This is a drier style Pinot Grigio with fresh flavours, conveniently in a 375mL bottle.
