Ironcloud Rock of Solitude Cabernet Malbec
The Rock of Solitude is a special place in our vineyard, a single flat rock facing west, overlooking Geographe Bay. In the quiet of the early morning and evening this is the perfect place to seek seclusion and regain energy from the earth. Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were machine-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The ferments were pumped over twice a day. Postalcoholic fermentation, it was pressed to tank before racking off to barrel for malo-lactic fermentation and maturation. The wine was then blended together, fined, filtered and bottled.
Jam Shed Rose
Meet the new kid on the block. This wine is fresh - faced and eager to please this season. Sourced from selected vineyards, this rosé is delicate, with hints of delicious, sweet summer berries and cream. It’s seriously fun, bursting with flavour and jam packed with sweetness! Seriously shareable.
Rangers Lookout Pinot Grigio
Crafted from one of the first-class grapes in Victoria's King Valley, Rangers Lookout Pinot Grigio is juicy and fresh. An easy favourite of wine fans and for good reason, the palate offers delectable notes of honeysuckle, pears & white peaches with an enjoyable finish.
Yarrunga Field Special Reserve Shiraz
Sam Trimboli has been creating bestselling wonders for us for nearly 20 years, so when we asked him for an exceptional Shiraz the great man was happy to oblige. Once again this 2018 'Special Reserve' is made with Shiraz sourced from premium vineyards owned by many of Australia's leading independent growers.
White Duck Chardonnay Pinot Grigio
Many of you will remember Sam Trimboli from his days at Warburn Estate where, every vintage, he’d pick up literally hundreds of awards. He’s still on a winning streak, but now he’s renting space all for himself at a winery in Riverina, New South Wales. Sam makes there the mighty Black Duck, and his white version – the equally fruity and irresistible White Duck. Sam has been in the region for many years, so knows exactly where the best grapes are growing. In 2021, he selected when he wanted them picked too, cool fermenting and adding a touch of citrusy Pinot Grigio to the blend. This is the sort of wine you should never be short of, ready chilled in the fridge. Exuberant with bright melon fruit – serve solo or with a spicy noodle dish.
Domaine du Mas Ensoleillé Rosé
Provence is the absolute epicentre of fine Rosé. Warm sunshine and cooling breezes from the Med encourage the elegant fruit flavours the region is known for. It’s the style the rich and famous love to sip as they enjoy the sunshine of the Côte d’Azur. This is a delicious new find from a small cellar in Aix en Provence, next door to where neoclassical painter François-Marius Granet lived (and after whom the cellar is named). Using Provence’s finest varieties for elegant Rosé, Grenache and Syrah, this pretty pink is crafted from hand picked grapes, harvested in the cool of the night. Subtle berry fruit with a classic savoury edge and bright lemony zip – this wine is as delightful on its own as it is with seafood or lighter vegetarian dishes.
RedHeads Dan'Jango
A Barossa Shiraz with a difference - as colourful and dramatic as its label suggests! Dan’Jango is a lone-wolf, a maverick, a liberator, fighting his own personal war for freedom, for great wines. He personifies the dynamic RedHeads team, who have always looked to 'liberate' grapes, often destined to disapppear into big name blends.
Jam Shed Chardonnay
White wines can be jammy too. Try this delicious Chardonnay giving you all the warm, buttery feelings. Hints of this or notes of that. You want the 411, ok, here it is. Vanillin, nougat and toasted nut flavours with ripe peach and citrus fruit finishing with a soft jammy mouthfeel. The creamy buttery texture is perfectly balanced by luscious acidity and framed by skilfully selected oak. Pair with chicken and pork, creamy pasta, spicy seafood, Asian influenced dishes, and salads. Perfect for those Summer evenings & al fresco dinners.
Penfolds St Henri
Penfolds St Henri is one of Australia's greatest red wines. The Shiraz for St Henri is selected for subtlety and elegance and the finished wine has the structure complexity for extended bottle maturation. The 1991 is a classic St Henri vintage that is good to drink until 2022.
