This unique Tawny has spent 12 years aging in old oak barrels and finished its aging process in Beenleigh Rum Barrels for a further 3 years to further develop charachterisitcs true to the style and mellow tannins and acidity. The Houghton Maragaret River Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is bright straw appearance with tropical aromatics of passionfruit, gooseberry and guava. The palate is fresh with vibrant lemon and lime citrus notes. Light lees adds weight and texture to the palate. Well worth seeking out.
