Louis Roederer Champagne Cristal Rose

In 1974, 100 years after the creation of Cristal, Jean-Claude Rouzaud decided to create the Cristal Rosé cuvée. To achieve this, he selected old-vine Pinot noir grapes from the finest Grand Cru vineyards at Aÿ, which are now cultivated according to biodynamic principles. The unique calcareous clay soil, which gives the grapes an exquisite minerality, enables the vines (in the best years) to attain exceptional fruit maturity, complemented by a crystalline acidity. A blend of around 55% Pinot noir and 45% Chardonnay, comprising 20% of wine matured in oak tuns, Cristal Rosé is produced using the saignée process after cold maceration. The Cristal Rosé cuvée is aged, on average, for 6 years in Louis Roederer’s cellars. The attack reveals an aromatic intensity with a remarkable fullness and the smooth, sweet flavours of white flowers, red fruits, caramel, and Tarte Tatin. The full, round, and refined texture in the initial attack, which is characteristic of the Louis Roederer Champagne House, is complemented by a winey—though not full-bodied—structure and a remarkable freshness, giving an impression of great finesse and strengthening the wine’s precision.

La Crema Monterey Bay Chardonnay

The original name, La Crema Vinera, means “best of the vine,” setting the standard for this winery does since 1979. Their family-owned and operated winery focuses exclusively on cool-climate appellations. Continually exploring these very special regions and passionate in their belief that they make uniquely expressive and elegant wines. Over 30 years of experience working with chardonnay and pinot noir have established La Crema as a winery of consistent quality. La Crema produces wines from top cool-climate appellations to include; Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Monterey and most recently Willamette. The unifying factors of all these sites are their cool, windy climates and marine-based soils. Outstanding vineyard sources, limited yields and artisanal wine making produce wines that receive high acclaim. The Monterey Appellation consists of a long valley stretching from the uniquely cold Monterey Bay to the far Southeast reaches of the Salinas Valley. An ever-present breeze and maritime influence rise from the ocean cooling wide expanses of rolling vineyards. The fruit for this wine is sourced from multiple vineyards across the Monterey AVA including our Gravelstone and Clark estate vineyards. Vineyards located in North Monterey bring juicy fruit notes while the vineyards in the South bring riper fruit flavours. La Crema Monterey Bay Chardonnay has aromas of grilled pineapple, nashi pear, tangerine, and papaya are followed by flavours of white peach, Anjou pear, Key lime and honeydew melon which are complemented by a touch of barrel spice and river stone minerality. Balanced acidity lingers on a long finish.

Ghost Rock Supernatural Pét Nat

The Ghost Rock vineyard sits in the northern reaches of Tasmania. The Supernatural Pet Nat - a wine that's become too popular to keep up with. A field blend of Chardonnay (40%), Riesling (23%), Sauvy B (23%) and Pinot Noir (14%). A lively palate of texture and spice. Vibrant acidity provides the liveliness and freshness Tasmania is renowned for. We like to think of its colour as 'Devil Red'. And we like to think of its aromatics as wild berries. And it's light on the fizz so you can slam it down f...slowly. Best you give it a run and see for yourself.

Henschke Henry's Seven Shiraz Grenache Viognier

This blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Viognier is a relatively recent addition to Henschke's impressive range. Typically fragrant plum and raspberry aromas, followed by a velvety palate with rich fruit flavours and well intergraded tannins. Henry's Seven will not disappoint.

Cloudy Bay Pelorus Non-Vintage

A sparkling from the popular Marlborough region of NZ. This is a deliciously crisp sparkling that is perfect for all occasions. Whether it's a small milestone or a big celebration you can't go wrong popping the cork of this quality sparkling.

Valli Gibbston Vineyard Pinot Noir

Fat Bastard Malbec

Medium purple hue. Ripe blackberry & black cherry with hints of fresh tobacco. Upfront, it is all juicy and dark fruited - ripe plum, tangy blueberry with a touch of ribena sweetness - but to follow, a hint of smoky cured meatiness and fine chalky tannin serve to make the finish savoury yet muy refrescante. Fermented in open stainless steel vats on skins for 14 days. Gentle pressing off skins via airbag press. The brainchild of Guy Anderson and Thierry Boudinaud, Fat Bastard Wines came into being via an exclamation, "Now that is what you call a Fat Bastard!" The comment came in response to a barrel of experimental Chardonnay that Thierry had left on lees for an extended maturation. Both Guy and Thierry felt that the wines had to be shared with the world, and so Fat Bastard Wines was born. Now, the pair work with wineries and vineyards from all over the world, sourcing fruit and juice from a myriad different regions and countries. But one factor remains the same: they make unapologetically full-bodied wines, packed with flavour and vibrancy.

Leeuwin Art Series Sauvignon Blanc

Yeringberg Shiraz

This classic Yarra Valley Shiraz from Yeringberg is showing those trademark Shiraz characters of cracked black pepper and great fruit weight, there is also some good concentration and a long powdery tannin finish.

Tapanappa Piccadilly Valley Chardonnay

The Piccadilly Valley welcomed the Croser family back into the Tapanappa Winery with a typical cool weather vintage of exemplary quality. Stone fruit, honeydew and lemon zest, with spicy cedar oak in support. Medium bodied, tangy lemony acidity, almond and spice, firm and flinty finish. Its a wine of structure and coiled up power. Good now, but ideally needs a couple of years in the winerack.
