Mrs Q Series McLaren Vale Shiraz

Mrs Who? Mrs Q! John Quarisa's lavish McLaren Vale Shiraz honours his wife Josephine. As you can imagine, it uses the best quality fruit, and enjoys some luxury treatment in the winery too. Mrs Q wouldn't have anything less! This Shiraz is full-bodied with delicate pepper and chocolatey, dark fruits. Silky, smooth with well-balanced oak, the wine lingers long after the last satin-like sip. Indulge in the luscious flavours and enjoy a glass tonight.

Domaine La Lirande Syrah

Our scout and buyer for the Languedoc is Mark Hoddy. He's always searching out the vineyards of the Languedoc and further south to the Roussillon, to check out the vintage and the finest parcels of grapes. This is an ace find Mark discovered last vintage via an old friend in Corbières. Close by is Domaine La Lirande, a small estate that enjoyed a great vintage in 2019 and again in 2020 (remember that long, sunny growing season?). The Syrah stood out for quality and, too good to blend, the winemaker kept it solo. Mark reserved the lot in both vintages. Seductive ripe black fruit, velvety, with smoky liquorice and wild herb notes. It's young, so best with hearty dishes and at a barbecue. After a few months, it'll be delicious on its own.

Miles From Nowhere Margaret River Shiraz

This highly expressive Margaret River Shiraz comes from the award-winning Miles From Nowhere label. With grapes sourced from precious little pockets of exceptional land and vineyards, this Shiraz lives up to their reputation with great fruit concentration driven by mixed berries and dark, juicy cherry fruit.

Marchand & Burch Villages Rose

Made in the contemporary style, Marchand & Burch Rosé flaunts a luminescent sunstone colour with light pink tinges. The wine's bouquet exudes aromas of strawberry coulis and cream. The silky palate shows flavours of red berries and peach. The saline, chalky and savoury notes provide length as well as a fine drying balance to the wine's finish. All in all, it's a gentle wine, perfectly layered with subtle complexities to be explored. This Rose pairs very well with light pastas, seafood and goat cheese.

30 Mile Shiraz

John Quarisa is a Jimmy Watson Trophy-winning winemaker, with a "long and distinguished" career (Halliday). Here he's provided a beautifully rich, lush and full-flavoured Shiraz, a triple Gold-winner laden with ripe fruits, delicious exotic spice and a smooth, long finish.
