Henschke Mount Edelstone Shiraz

Langton's Classification: Exceptional

The 90 year old vines has been producing a single vineyard Shiraz since 1952 and is one of Australia's truly great wines. d'Arenberg d'Arrys Original Shiraz Grenache

Produced from low yielding, hand harvested vines and made using traditional techniques, D'Arry's Original is a smooth, textured, full bodied red which typifies the generous McLaren style. Always one of those little cellar stars that you can buy up a case or two, hide under the house for a decade and be quietly content that d'Arry's Original will be shining in a decade.

Domaine Naturaliste Rachis Syrah

Sons of Eden Marschall Shiraz

Deep garnet in colour, displaying a mixed array of wildberry and red licorice aromas. The palate is fresh and vibrant, juicy and rounded. A very modern styled Barossa Shiraz, which is delicious drinking now that will mature well for the medium term. A variety of fermentation techniques were utilized, but all involved extended skin contact ranging from 15 to 25 days. A cold soak period of up to 6 days occurred before a natural warming to start the fermentation. Upon completion the ferments were pressed to a mix of new and seasoned oak hogsheads, for malolactic fermentation and maturation.

Yalumba Winesmiths Shiraz

Yalumba Winesmiths Shiraz 2L Cask is a ruby red and richly fragrant shiraz from the Eden Valley region of South Australia. This Shiraz expresses delicious blueberry and plum fruit flavours, followed by a hint of peppery spice and oak. This is always a great wine to drink with red meat; whether a roast in winter or a lazy summer BBQ on the deck. In 1849 a young man by the name of Samuel Smith, with a passion for horticulture, purchased 30 acres of land in the newly settled township of Angaston. He planted a vineyard and an orchard, which grew to bear fruit and his family prospered. 170 years of winemaking and horticulture later, the elm trees he planted still overlook Smith's original garden and his great -great-great grandson continues the family tradition of winemaking, horticulture and craftsmanship. Fiver generations of Winesmiths have created this timeless range of premium cask wines. Enjoying a wide range of climates including the cool temperatures of the Adelaide Hills, to the hot summer weather of the Barossa Valley, South Australia is arguably Australia's most diverse wine producing state. It is from these wonderfully diverse regions that winemaker Marty O'Flaherty selects the best varietals to produce Mojo wines. Marty's resounding philosophy is "wine should tell a story about the terroir in which it's grown, needing lots of love but minimal handling by allowing the growers to do what they do best."
