Tempranillo

Artelan Rioja CVC

This full-bodied and juicy red wine from the famous Spanish region Rioja is characterised by intense aromas of blackberries, plums and spice. Perfectly paired with red meats or a cheese board.

Taylors Estate Tempranillo

Medium-bodied with seductive flavours of blueberries, cherries and dark plums. The French oak maturation provides subtle savoury, spice characters with a pleasing soft and silky texture to the mid palate. A long, persistent finish makes this a great wine for Spanish or games dishes.

Tread Softly Tempranillo

A subtle rendition of this popular Spanish variety, showing enticing aromas of red fruits, with a savoury edge. Nicely svelte palate of bright fruit, soft tannins and bright acidity on the finish. Light and smooth and the perfect accompaniment for anything char-grilled.

Conde de Tresaguas Rioja

A wine that highlights the bold yet elegant nature of Rioja Tempranillo, Conde de Tresaguas was recently awarded the Gold Medal at the Gilber & Gaillard International Competition. Aromas of ripe blackberries and dark cherries, along with notes of fresh tobacco, vanilla, and cedary oak. With a velvety mouthfeel framing lavours of juicy plum, blackcurrant, and a touch of mocha, this is a fruit-filled, balanced Rioja with a long and satisfying after-taste, offering outstanding value.

Marqués de Murrieta Reserva Tempranillo Blend

What a coup to get this wine into our range. Certainly and deservedly one of the most highly regarded Rioja producers. These are the Riojas from which dreams are made. Think leather chesterfields, smoked meats and cigar-box.

Billy Button Tempranillo

Bio Project McLaren Vale Tempranillo Blend

Vibrant aromas of cherry (Tempranillo), cola and earth (Monastrell), heritage rose (Grenache), violet and spice (Touriga Nacional) harmonise. A compote of red and dark summer berries is restrained and shaped by the savoury minerality and textured fruit tannins of this layered and complex medium-bodied wine. The Bio Project represents Shinglebacks ongoing commitment to undertaking native revegetation within our vineyards. The plants were carefully selected to provide benefits to the vineyard by specifically attracting beneficial insects and native birds, improve water quality and restore some of McLaren Vales biodiversity.
