A fine example of cool-climate Chardonnay. Elegant and structured this wine shows the finesse of the Yarra Valley at it's best. A perfect white to accompany seafood and white meats.

COLOUR Soft gold in colour AROMA Apricot, honeysuckle, grapefuit and oatmeal aromatics PALATE Bursts of fig, lychee and lime in the glass for a crisp and refreshing finish with subtle oak on the palate. Bursts of creamy texture back by brightness. FOOD MATCH Pair with creamy chicken in white wine sauce, grilled whiting with Asian greens or spaghetti marinara. This wine is Vegan Friendly.

James Busby planted hundreds of varieties at Kirkton Estate - the first vineyard in the Hunter Valley. He is recognised as the "father of the Australian wine industry". William Busby is James Busby son who inherited Kirkton Estate in 1857. This Semillon is dedicated to William. A fresh and crisp Semillon, with undertones of lemon sherbet and citrus fruit. The palate is clean and complex with a stunning lime finish.

With not only Robert 'Bob' Oatley's signature on the label, the wine itself has the signature of winemaker Larry Cherubino all over it. Supple and elegant along power and poise are all trademarks of the award winning WA winemaker; all of which are on display here with the Signature Series Chardonnay from Margaret River. Stone fruit notes greet the nose which are then reflected onto the palate that has a length of flavour befitting of a premium Chardonnay.

The Elephant in the Room wines are proudly large in scale and expansive in flavour. Ignoring fashion and braving the scorn “wine thought police” Elephant in the Room was created to give consumers exactly what they want – full bodied and mouth-filling wines that deliver maximum pleasure. Each wine is sourced from slow-ripening cool climate vineyards in the Limestone Coast of South Australia and partially matured in French Oak before final blending and bottling by Corey Ryan.

Deep green gold. The nose is mature and ripe, simply exquisite, and the palate magnificent. Dense, concentrated flavours with more than a hint of ripe peaches and melon.
