Batch Brewing American Pale Ale (Case)
The inspiration behind their creation was based on a refresh of the British icon as well as their classic American Pale Ale. Their goal was to "modernize" it a bit, both in terms of making the person more friendly and approachable, but also for the beer itself. They wanted to bring the OG APA they created and give it a modern twist with varied hops, as well as a nod to the fact that Batch was the first Brewery in Marrickville. Marrickville Original Pale Ale is a classic craft beer with a golden colour and a tropical aroma of mango. It has a well-balanced flavour profile, starting with a pleasant hop bitterness and hints of pine, and finishing smoothly and refreshingly. This beer combines traditional American Pale Ale characteristics with a modern twist, making it approachable and loved by craft beer enthusiasts. It is a must-try for beer lovers, especially as it holds the distinction of being the first beer ever produced by Batch Brewing Company in Marrickville.
Chimay Red (Case)
Topped with a creamy head, it gives off a light, fruity apricot aroma produced by the fermentation. The taste perceived in the mouth is a balance confirming the fruity nuances noticed in the fragrance. Chimay is an authentic Trappist product. This means that it is brewed within the walls of a Trappist monastery, under the control and responsibility of the community of monks, who are involved through the process of making and marketing the beer. Most of the income generated by this activity is devoted to the needs of the community and social works.
La Chouffe Blonde ( )
La Chouffe Blonde leaves citrus notes on the palate, followed by a refreshing, pleasantly spicy note, giving it a lovely lightness. With its 8% alcohol content and slightly hoppy taste, this golden beer has won over beer lovers from all over the world down the years. The story begins in the late 1970s, in the middle of the Vallée des Fées (the Valley of the Fairies), when two brothers-in-law, Pierre Gobron and Chris Bauweraerts decided to create their own beer in the garage belonging to Chris’ mother-in-law. With the little money they had at the time, they began what the brewery’s fans now call the “Chouffe Story”. The 1st brew of 49 litres was produced on 27 August 1982.
