This medium-bodied Shiraz is fruit-forward and elegantly balanced, with a classy oak influence. Subtle notes of licorice and dark chocolate add depth, while fine tannins provide structure. The finish lingers with red currant and a touch of chocolate, delivering a refined and approachable wine.

An excellent example of cool-climate Shiraz with dark black fruit, spice and pepper characters. The oak and tannins are well balanced ensuring that this wine is drinking well now and has plenty of life ahead.

A combination of fermentation styles and French and American oak, highlight the regional characteristics. The wine has lifted aromas of spice, dark cherries, and plums, with a rich, full-flavoured palate of forest fruits and vanilla, finishing with soft tannins and excellent length. Langhorne Creek is situated on the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia and is home to some of the world's oldest grape vines. Shiraz is one of the hallmark varietals of Langhorne Creek, producing big, full bodied red wines. This Shiraz from Oak Lane is a great example of the premium wines which come from this region.

The 2013 year was a drought year and therefore the wine is a much bigger wine than the typical Hilltops Shiraz Strong rich red fruits such as blackberries and plums. beautifully balanced and ready to drink in 2022 to 2023.
