Bin 707 is a Cabernet Sauvignon reflection of Grange, intensely-flavoured fruit, completion of fermentation and maturation in new oak, expressing a Penfolds understanding of multi-vineyard, multi-region fruit sourcing. Bin 707 was first vintaged in 1964. The wine was not made from 1970 to 1975 when fruit was directed to other wines, nor in 1981, 1995, 2000, 2003 or 2011 (when fruit of the required style and quality was not available). Full bodied and with proven cellaring potential, Bin 707 retains a secure place among the ranks of Australias finest Cabernets.

The Marrenon moto of "Pleasure by Nature" is indicative of their approach to the growing and making of wine. This 100% pinot noir (IGP- Mediterranean) is described by the winery as (having) "an intense nose of black cherry, jammy and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, the attack is of a beautiful smoothness which is prolonged by an explosion of fruit, fine and very pure, which fills the mouth, in concert with a light tannic structure. Carried by its freshness, this dominance of very ripe, slightly kirsch cherry flavour stretches in length, then evolves into notes of toasted hazelnuts on the palate."

From Italy's northern Veneto region, the small addition of Pinot Noir provides the wines coppery pink hue. Subtle floral and pear aromas lead to a gentle palate weight with an underlying acid drive.

Pale salmon pink with fresh cherry, watermelon and blueberry aromas that lead to cherry, red berry flavours and a clean finish.

The acidity is well balanced with just the slightest hint of structure from the Pinot Noir.
