The 2020 Excuse My French Pinot Noir is yet another winner; red & black berries on the palate with a hint of vanilla and a delicious richness. The Wire walker is garnet red in colour. Perfumed and fragrant. This wine displays a generosity of ripe berry fruits complimented by savoury spice. The palate is generous offering sumptuous fruit framed by elegant supple tannins.

Allora Rosso is a delicious medium-bodied red wine produces by Joel Pizzini (of Pizzini Wines). Sourced and made in King Valley, these Italian-style wines play on the meaning of “Allora,” which rolls beautifully from the tongue and buys the Italians a moment in time. It’s a word for everyday use, much like the Allora wines are made for enjoying every day with good company and good food. Allora Rosso is an Italian style blend made from Canaiolo, Sangiovese and a splash of Shiraz. Violets, cherries, plums, licorice and spice with a hint of chocolate on the finish. This is a perfect midweek wine, versatile enough to be enjoyed with pizza, osso bucco or even a spicy tomato pasta.

Planted in the late 19th century, the High Trellis vineyard was the first d'Arenberg vineyard to be trained above knee height. For the past four decades, a Cabernet Sauvignon has been produced from the vineyard to critical acclaim, even winning the Jimmy Watson trophy in 1969. Howard Park Miamup Rosé is crafted from 55% Shiraz and 45% Pinot Noir. Flaunting a shining rose gold colour, this mesmerising Rose opens with fruity notes of strawberries and peach swirled with cream. These ripe berry and early season stone fruit flavours offer gentle sweetness and crispness to the palate. Oak maturation gives a soft mineral texture while adding weight and complexity to the wine. This modern, stylish, dry and delicate rosé is a great summer drink, tasting best paired with grilled fish or goat cheese.

This beautiful wine displays an attractive ruby red colour in a glass. The well balanced bouquet emits medium intensity fragrances of blackberry, dried herbs and earth. It offers coffee, toasted oak and vanilla characters towards the end. The nose smoothly makes way for a lush palate, filled with flavours of juicy forest fruits and soft vanilla, leading to savoury notes. Together with palate coating tannins, these characters culminate in a cocoa and coffee dominated finish.

Malbec is renowned for its value in blends but not often found as a varietal. This fine example from Bleasdale is considered a benchmark for the style. Soft, smooth, toasty oak with great depth of complexity.
