Hungerford Hill Tumbarumba Chardonnay

Hungerford Hill is a premium Hunter Valley winery, but they have a long history of making prestige wines from NSW's cool Tumbarumba region. This one shows the region's cool, crisp, citrus and nectarine rich style off to perfection. So much so that it won Gold AND the Trophy at the Canberra Wine Show! Now that's impressive!

Zonte's Footstep Lady Marmalade Vermentino

Zonte's call this a "sexy, sassy, somewhat racy Vermentino that exudes so much character it just keeps you coming back for more..." Expect lovely green apple, starfruit, fresh lime and zesty grapefruit all wrapped up in a crisp zingy finish. This is delicious!

Aluado Chardonnay

Portugal offers wine drinkers terrific value in the wine drinking stakes, as well as an awe inspiring range of native grapes. The country’s winemakers are also adept at producing some cracking wines with international stars. Take Aluado from one of Portugal’s top names. José Neiva Correia is a doyen of Portuguese wine with many awards to his name. Having consulted for many of the country’s top cellars, he now has his own estate, and combines generations of tradition with an inquisitive spirit undimmed by decades of experience. Using grapes from vineyards close to the coast, Aluado has lovely ripe peach fruit balanced by a zing of stony crispness. Just what you want, as a glass on its own, or served with seafood, salmon or chicken dishes.

Caravan Sauvignon Blanc

John Quarisa, aka Johnny Q, is a terrific winemaker, creating wines that, like him, can be lively and highly charged. In his Caravan wine series, he likes to think of a grape that changes in style as it travels. So that here, Sauvignon Blanc grown in his Riverina vineyards produces a wine still with loads of grassy fresh zip, but along the way, has developed more tropical fruit flavours too. That is peach, pineapple and passionfruit! He insists on night harvested grapes to ensure lots of bright fresh flavours and cool ferments them for the same reason. This wine previously won a Gold medal and we think the 2021 vintage is tasting just as good – it's a fridge-door-must! Chill down and enjoy as a glass on its own or with spicy Thai dishes.

White Duck Chardonnay Pinot Grigio

Many of you will remember Sam Trimboli from his days at Warburn Estate where, every vintage, he’d pick up literally hundreds of awards. He’s still on a winning streak, but now he’s renting space all for himself at a winery in Riverina, New South Wales. Sam makes there the mighty Black Duck, and his white version – the equally fruity and irresistible White Duck. Sam has been in the region for many years, so knows exactly where the best grapes are growing. In 2021, he selected when he wanted them picked too, cool fermenting and adding a touch of citrusy Pinot Grigio to the blend. This is the sort of wine you should never be short of, ready chilled in the fridge. Exuberant with bright melon fruit – serve solo or with a spicy noodle dish.

Hole in the Clouds Sauvignon Blanc

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a phenomenon – a white wine loved by our thirsty customers. And for good reason. This northern-tip region on New Zealand's South Island delivers wines bounding with fabulous ripe tropical fruit and zingy citrus freshness. Not all, however, get it as right as Hole in the Clouds. The grapes that go into this wine have been lavished with the greatest TLC, to ensure ultra healthy, perfectly ripe berries, every one. What's in the bottle will prove that. Chill it down, unscrew the cap and unleash the flavours. You'll smell that fruit before the glass nears your nose. Hole in the Clouds is a blast as a glass on its own, and equally delicious with salmon with saucy salsa, barbecued prawns, chicken or Thai green curry.

Caravan Pinot Grigio

Crisp apple and fresh pear bounce around in this easy-drinking Pinot Grigio that's a palate-full of flavour. A refreshing addition to afternoon drinks or maybe enjoy it with a chicken pesto salad.
