Dandelion Vineyards Twilight of the Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

Claymore Joshua Tree Clare Valley Riesling

Just over 20 years ago, Claymore Wines was humbly established with small volumes of Grenache and Riesling from a single vineyard in Penwortham. Since then, the estate has grown to include additional varietals and 44 hectares across three additional vineyards in Watervale.

Both Barrels Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Welcome this high calibre white blend from Adelaide Hills. It's loaded with flavour – and with your total refreshment in its sights!

Sunday Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Sunday Bay is a phenomenon. Kiwi Sauvignon is by far our most popular style, and our range is full of standout examples. So it’s a huge statement that Sunday Bay, year after year, is the one our customers rate highest and re-order most. It's made by an award-winning family winery, who were some of the first pioneers of the Marlborough region. Phil and Chris Rose founded the estate back in 1978, now their five children have joined them, so it's very much a family affair. Their Sunday Bay is a classic Sauvignon. Exuberant grapefruit and grassy nettle character with a bright citrus zip; all the usual Marlborough pizzazz and more. It’s very moreish solo or makes the perfect partner to all sorts of seafood, spicy stir-fry or Thai fish cakes.

Brightwater Nelson Sauvignon Blanc

Brightwater is from a tiny family estate our Buyer first visited in 2002, having noticed that famous Aussie wine writer James Halliday had reviewed their Sauvignon above Cloudy Bay. Their 2009 was also rated as 5 Stars by top Kiwi wine critic Bob Campbell MW. A classic match with goat's cheese, it's also just the ticket with seafood, especially oysters. Alternatively, enjoy as a refreshing glass on its own.

Glenlofty Estate Pyrenees Roussanne Marsanne

Russell & Suitor Son of a Bull Tasmanian Riesling

Vinaceous Shakre Margaret River Chardonnay

It’s very easy to enjoy this 93pt Chardonnay, as Sam Kim notes: “Elegantly complex and inviting, the bouquet shows white flesh peach, Gala apple, lemon zest, and nougat characters with a hint of oatmeal. It's beautifully weighted in the mouth, displaying a finely flowing mouthfeel backed by bright acidity, finishing long and refined.” (Wine Orbit). Vinaceous is a dynamic, somewhat quirky enterprise utilising colourful names and labels and excellent fruit usually from Western Australia’s Margaret River and Great Southern. “The wines (from Vinaceous) are of seriously good quality and equally good value” says Halliday.

Domaine Matrot Bourgogne Blanc

Elegant (and utterly delicious) White Burgundy from a fine family domaine, established in 1909 by Joseph Matrot, and today run by the third generation, Elsa and Adèle Matrot. They are renowned as “a top-class Meursault producer” (Wine International), while Neal Martin wrote, "great wines are being made at this address". The sisters, like their father before them, believe in using oak sparingly in order to express “the quintessence of terroir” (La Revue du Vin de France). They let the fruit do the talking. The result is a portfolio of Burgundies that are intensely flavoured, pure tasting, with excellent ageing potential. In 2023, they discarded 25% of their grapes which has taken quality even higher. Certainly one of the finest producers of Burgundy.

McPherson Pebble Road Chardonnay

Pour a glass of this versatile, excellently balanced and very approachable Chardonnay from the team at McPhersons Wines, for friends, and the chances are you'll both be back for a second glass! Andrew McPherson has been in the industry for decades, he grew up in the world of wine and went on to work for some top names in Austalia before settling down to craft really characterful, great value wines like this one, under his own name. The team at McPherson Wines produce an excellent range across a diverse range of styles. "... they represent very good value across a range of labels. Winemaker Jo Nash has been at the helm for many years and co-owner Alistair Purbrick (Tahbilk) has a lifetime of experience in the industry. Quality is unfailingly good." (Halliday).
