Siduri Wines Chardonnay
Siduri Wines takes its name from the Babylonian goddess of wine, a fitting symbol for Adam Lee's pursuit of balance and character in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Based in the Willamette Valley, Siduri works closely with small growers, sourcing fruit from cool, elevated sites that give freshness and clarity. The Chardonnay is hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, with fermentation in French oak barrels, mostly used, to frame rather than dominate the fruit. A portion of the wine is aged on lees to build texture and depth, while malolactic fermentation is carefully managed to retain precision. Each vintage shows the hallmark Willamette tension between richness and restraint. Expect notes of citrus and stone fruit with a subtle line of minerality and gentle creaminess from time on lees. The result is a Chardonnay that speaks clearly of its place—pure, poised, and crafted for both immediate enjoyment and graceful ageing.
