Hunter’s Chardonnay

Fermented and aged in French oak casks for 10 months. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe pear and nectarine are followed by hints of dried honey, biscuity oak, citrusy nougat and spice. Mid weighted and carrying a nicely fleshed feel, pear and nectarine fruits are featured over honeysuckle, biscuity nougat and spicy crème brulee characters. Gently creamed medium to long conclusion. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc. 12.5%

Leogate Estate Black Cluster Army Block Semillon

The Army Block Semillon is an isolated parcel from the highly regarded Black Cluster Vineyard in Pokolbin in The Hunter Valley. The grapes were handpicked from low yielding vines to minimise skin contact and preserve the fresh, delicate flavours of the variety and ensure excellent concentration of fruit flavour.

Under The Table Fiano

Multi Trophy-winning Sam Trimboli must be one of the country's most in-demand winemakers. But after 30-odd years working for other wineries, he took the big step of setting up on his own in 2018 – and, being an old friend of ours, we backed him every step of the way. In return, Sam creates some excellent wines just for us, most have become bestsellers. We suspect this cracking white will shortly join them.

Rob Dolan White Label Yarra Valley Chardonnay

Lange Estate Providence Road Great Southern Chardonnay

From the Lange family estate and vineyard situated in the picturesque Frankland River, tucked away in the far northwestern corner of the Great Southern. “This is a potent Chardonnnay of power and presence. Toasty whiffs with cedar and clove spice, some rich, hazelnut elements, ripe citrus, red apple and rockmelon in tow. The palate similar to the bouquet, bold and spicy, laden with woody seasoning and generous to a tee. In all that, the balance works well” (Halliday).
