Elvio Cogno Ravera, Barolo

Descendientes de J Palacios Las Lamas Mencia

Wilder, fleshier with more grip and structure, the Las Lamas is sourced from a steep south-facing sloped vineyard at 730m altitude. The biodynamic single vineyard has vines averaging in age between 50-90 years anchored on minerally schist and clay soils. Fermentation takes place in small foudres and the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered after 14 months' maturation in French oak of various ages. Approximately 5 barrels of this wine are made each vintage.

Chateau Belair-Monange 1er grand cru classe

Previously known as Chateau Belair, the name was changed to Belair-Monange upon its full purchase by the Moueix family in 2008. The 12 ha vineyard is planted predominately to Merlot with some Cabernet Franc growing on limestone and clay soils. A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, the wine is fermented in stainless steel and lined concrete tanks prior to undergoing maturation in a mix of new and seasoned barriques for 18 months. A philosophy encompassing reduced yields, later harvesting and meticulous fruit selection have resulted in a richer more generous, concentrated style since 2008.

Luce Della Vite Luce Toscana IGT

Quintarelli Rosso Ca' del Merlo

A single vineyard bottling - typically made from Corvina, Rondinella, Cabernet Franc and supporting varieties - the Ca del Merlo is aged for seven years before bottling. It undergoes a second fermentation in contact with the lees of Quintarellis Amarone, in the Italian tradition of Ripasso, thereby utilising byproducts of the legendary latter to add a layer of complexity to the already high-quality base wine.

William Downie Camp Hill Pinot Noir

Domaine d'Eugenie Grand Cru

Clos Vougeot is renowned for being one of the finest red wines in Burgundy with superlative depth, richness and power. Domaine d'Eugenies Clos Vougeot comes off a small holding of 1.36ha within the large walled Clos Vougeot vineyard. The plot is located in one of the best positions at the top of the slope and is managed along biodynamic principles. The fruit is handpicked, 50% is then destemmed with fermentation taking place in small vessels, before undergoing maturation in approximately 90% new French oak barrels.
