Wynns Coonawarra Estate Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc
The superb Wynns Coonawarra Estate Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc is a debut release, marking the first time the winery has bottled this varietal as a standalone offering. Sourced from the McKillop Vineyard in northern Coonawarra, it features vibrant red fruit flavours of raspberry and violet, supported by fine chalky tannins and aged exclusively in large-format neutral French oak vats for freshness.
Cullen Wines Cabernet Sauvignon
Aromas of perfumed violets and roses laced with wild berries and juicy cassis are well framed by a backbone of tobacco leaf and musk. The palate is poised, with fruit concentration and silky tannins that spread softly across the palate with unctuous, juicy satsuma plum, mulberry, cherry, and cigar box notes. The well-orchestrated length unfolds fine-grained tannins, wrapping around the palate.

Penfolds FWT 543 (Cork) Cabernet Syrah
The storied vineyards of France famously gave Max Schubert his inspiration for Grange. With this release we head back to France for the inaugural FWT 543 release. A classic Australian blend of structural Cabernet Sauvignon and rich, textural Syrah, reimagined in a French context. Fruit sweetness intertwines with brioche oak and lively acidity for a sensory delight.

Bass Phillip Wines Depuis Pinot Noir
Bass Phillip Depuis 2023 marks another leap forward for this legendary Gippsland estate, now led by Burgundian icon Jean-Marie Fourrier. Since the change in stewardship, the wines have gained even greater finesse, vibrancy and aromatic detail, while retaining the wild energy that made Bass Phillip famous. The Depuis 2023 is deep, fragrant and beautifully structured, with pure red and black cherry, rose petals and fresh herb notes weaving through a core of supple fruit. Fine tannins and bright acidity lend clarity and drive, while a whisper of whole-bunch character adds complexity. There’s a seamless intensity that lingers long on the finish, propelled by that Gippsland mineral signature and the estate’s trademark lift. Critics have responded accordingly—Jane Faulkner (Halliday Wine Companion) and Huon Hooke (The Real Review) both awarded the 2023 Bass Phillip Pinot 96 points, highlighting their freshness, succulence and compelling, layered detail. Depuis 2023 is a striking, cellar-worthy Pinot with pedigree and poise, delivering the best of both classic Bass Phillip and new-era precision.
