DML Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir

The site where we source fruit for this wine is in a slightly warmer part of the Peninsula, well suited to cooler seasons such as 2020. This wine shows denser, darker fruits than that of its Yarra counterpart. On the nose there is stewed plums, cherries, roasted beetroot and spice all contributing to the aromatic complexity. The palate again shows an array of blue fruits, licorice and well integrated oak flavours giving a hint of sweetness. The acid/tannin combination gives this wine exceptional crunch and energy through the mid palate.

Domaine Philippe Girard Savigny Les Beaune

Domaine Philippe Girard is located on a lovely property in the middle of Savigny-Les-Beaune, a beautiful village not far from Beaune. The village centre, with its 12th century church and 17th century chateau, retains a historic atmosphere. At Domaine Philippe Girard, the succession is assured as Philippe's son, Arnaud, is now working on the estate. Made from old vines with an average age of 60 years old, this wine offers a lovely deep cherry colour with a bouquet of blackcurrant, cherry and raspberry. The body is enhanced by discreet, velvety tannins balanced by a roundness and generosity. A wine of balance through its mix of fruit and spice, power with beautiful elegance.

Antoniotti Odilio, Bramaterra, Piemonte, Italy

Today Odilio and his son Mattia work the vines, yet the Antoniotti family have been making wine in Casa del Bosco (west of Milan) in northern Piemonte for generations. The Antoniotti Bramaterra Nebbiolo blend is a fresh and attractive Piemonte red. With aromas of predominantly red fruits, herbs and spicy notes on the nose, this wine has a moreish mouth-coating quality with delicate tannins and a lengthy finish. An elegant and juicy wine of immense quality, especially at such a great price.

il Cacciatore del Tartufo Rosso

Oyster Bay Pinot Noir

Oyster Bay Pinot Noir is surprisingly a serious complex Pinot. Intense cherry and gamey, earthy notes are enhanced with quality French oak and the finish is spicy savoury and long. Terrific value.
